About The Muslim Directory

The Muslim Directory is a book and website (www.islam4u.co.za) which makes available the resources acccessible to the Muslim community of South Africa or any Muslim travelling through, visiting or even relocating in South Africa. The purpose of the Muslim directory is to create a Mulsim network, unite the ummah, give insight and inform the people of South Africa about Islam and provide a guide to services for Muslims in South Africa.

  • Our aim is to give insight into Islam - Educate and inform the South African people on what Islam is.
  • We want to unite the entire Muslim community and create a network to enable Muslims to improve their social, political and economic state in South Africa.
  • We will help the disadvantaged Muslim communities in South Africa.
  • We will strive to ensure that every institution, organisation and business within the community is present within the publication.
  • We will endevour to make the resources available in this book as a reference point for both Muslims and non-Muslims in South Africa.

We hope you have found the 2010/1431 Edition useful and informative. Your feedback and comments have been reviewed and utilised to make this edition more constructive. We have also updated and included new content to improve the Directory.

Please remember that The Muslim Directory is not funded by any group, organisation or government and will be brought to you by the business advertisers and sponsors. The Muslim Directory is distributed freely across South Africa, however we would like to encourage people to subscribe to the directory (for R35 per year) to make sure you be one of the first to get your copy posted to you every year, especially if you are in a remote area where the directory is not available or if you do not have the internet. “(O Holy Prophet) Say! (to your Ummah) I do not ask anything of you in return for bringing Islam to you except that you love and respect my relatives (the Ahl-ul-bait) and he who performs a good deed. We (Allah) shall give them an even better reward.”
[Al-Qurãn 42:23]
